Packing, shipping & will-call
Once an order is picked, it takes one of two roads out of the building. Both are done on a phone or tablet, and both end with the stock leaving ConsignTrak's books.

Will-call orders skip packing and shipping altogether. After picking, they go straight to the pickup queue.
Finding the queues
- Warehouse users have Pick, Pack and Ship in the bottom bar. A red number on each is how many orders are waiting there. Pickup appears only while a will-call order is waiting to be collected.
- Administrators find Pack, Ship and Pickup tiles on their phone's home screen. Office users find Pickup on theirs.

Each queue shows where the goods physically are. An Area badge (such as S-1) is the staging area the picker set the order down in. A Lane badge is a shipping lane the packer moved the cartons to. Match the badge to the placard on the floor.
Who does what
The same person can pick, pack and ship one order from start to finish, or the jobs can be split between a picker, a packer and a shipper. ConsignTrak records who did each step either way.
The goods belong to the supply partner until they reach the customer. The pack checks, the tracking numbers and the pickup photo are the warehouse's proof of what left, when, and with whom.
If something is wrong with the goods
Don't pack around a problem. On the pack screen, every line has a ⋯ menu for flagging a mispick or a quality issue. The office reviews it, and the order waits until they do. Flagging is covered with the other picking problems in Picking. What the office does next is in Pick exceptions.
