Reports & exports

ConsignTrak gives you three kinds of output:

  • PDFs — documents to print or send: releases, bin labels, the activity report and supply partner statements.
  • On-screen reports — pages that work out a summary when you open them. Most have a Print button or print cleanly from the browser.
  • Spreadsheet downloads — CSV or Excel (XLSX) files of your data. Choose XLSX if you'll open the file in Excel. It keeps long numbers and leading zeros intact.

Supply partners run their own reports in the portal. Those are listed separately below.

Spreadsheet downloads

Every download comes as CSV or XLSX unless the table says otherwise. Each one is recorded in the audit trail.

Common problems

The spreadsheet shows long numbers as 1.23E+05, or drops leading zeros. — Excel reformatted the CSV when opening it. Download the XLSX file instead. See Exporting customers and contacts.

The export has more rows than the list showed. — Most downloads ignore the search box and filters. See Exports.

A download or report opens "Access denied" or "Forbidden". — Your role can't run it. Check the Who can run it column above, and ask an Office user or Administrator.

The activity report PDF button stays grey. — Fill in both From and To. See The activity report.
